Ami’s Amore Boost for Club
Horsham TTC has welcomed a strengthening of its Sri Lankan connection with the arrival of Nadini Abeygunawardana, the girlfriend of the club’s topgun player Amila Thilakarathne.
Nadini is ranked No 8 female player in Sri Lankan and has been ranked No 1 in the U21s. She represented her country in the World Junior Championships held in China in 2002 and won the silver medal in the girls event of the Asian Schools Championships held in Malaysia in 2006.
Nadini showed early indications of this high pedigree in making her first visit to the club at last Tuesday evening’s coaching programme and it is hoped that this will be the first of many as she embarks on a three year business management degree in this country.
