18/5/12 - Youngsters are Lozz Leaders
The strong start to the Horsham Summer League continued with the Introductory and Intermediate team competitions getting underway in fine style. The Introductory section opened with two well contested matches that both ended up with 4-1 scorelines. Dani and Antonio Lozzi were both late sign ups to the league but wasted no time in adding their Italian flair to the proceedings. Read more...

The team section of the Advanced Division of the Horsham Summer League got underway with its first three matches this week. Father and son team Steve and Dan Pound opened their campaign confidently with a 5-0 win after being thrown a potential banana skin starter. 10/5/12 - Arnold and Covey Set the Pace
Following a successful start to the Horsham Summer League on Wednesday night with the Advanced Division it was the turn of the Intermediate and Introductory divisions to kick-off on the Thursday night at Greenway with individually based competitions. Youngsters James Arnold and Scott Covey lapped up the opportunity by winning the two respective competitions thus posting themselves as players for the rest to beat as the league progresses. The Advanced Division of the Horsham Summer League got underway with an excellently contested singles competition. Ex county player Steve Pound showed he's still got a few tricks up his sleeve by winning the evening beating an on-form Mark Weston in the final by 3 sets to 1. Read more...

Horsham Table Tennis Club is again planning to link its AGM into a quiz and social evening on Friday 25th May after the success of last year's undertaking based on this combination. The club committee is keen to encourage as many members and guests to attend as possible. Read more...

94 children from six schools made for the biggest and best ever Horsham area primary schools table tennis team championships at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre yesterday. With a skills event and the matchplay events being run in four banded sections there was plenty of opportunity for success to be shared around and Heron Way, Warnham and Kingslea schools were the chief beneficiaries of that fact. Horsham TTC’s National Cadet League (NCL) A team of James Arnold, Holly Holder and Freddy Goodall played in Division 1 again and did well to stay up, beating Twickenham Brunswick A 5-1. They also finished higher than Burlington Danes B to finish up in fourth place. Arnold won 4/8, Holder 3/8 and Goodall 2/8. Read more...
